Since 2014 Carol’s been a contributing editor for Life as a Human, an online human-interest magazine that invites and encourages humans to connect through a myriad of inspiring topics. In addition, she’s been a member of The Forever Writer’s Club since 2020, an exhaustive online offering through Chelene Knight’s literary studio, Breathing Space Creative. Carol’s poem Sticks and Stones was one of several chosen by the Ladysmith’s Art Council to be featured in a Fall 2023 publication of their online art magazine. The following year she talked about entrepreneurial mindset and work/life balance on The Balanced Creative Podcast, sharing her experience with trying to balance creative work and entrepreneurship alongside the demands of daily life.
Carol’s a centennial baby, born and raised on the beautiful West Coast of Canada. If she’s not spending time out in nature, you can find her at home jotting down random thoughts in a journal, cooking, playing her acoustic guitar or exploring with paint. She also volunteers for the Victoria Women’s Transition House, an organization that captured her heart many years ago. This amazing life, along with family, friends and meditation, are all part of her ever-growing gratitude list. No One in Their Right Mind is Carol’s first book.
