I have a serious love for avocados. On things, in things, savory or sweet…they’ve got my back.
As a creator, I’m always looking for easy things to make that won’t disrupt my flow but are healthy enough to keep me going for a few hours. Avocado pudding is something I make quite often when I feel like something sweet or just feel the need for a satisfying snack. I make it different every time, depending on what I have on hand. This morning I made it for breakfast and added a banana. There’s no measuring here. I just put everything in my magic bullet and whir it up.
Here’s what I put in today’s version, and it made two servings for me:
1 avocado
1 banana
2 tbsps cocoa
vanilla
almond milk
plain yogurt
maple syrup
It’s easier to thin than thicken, so I hold back on the almond milk a bit until I know what I’ve got for consistency. I’ve made this with just an avocado, cocoa powder and maple syrup. I’ve made it without yogurt. Sometimes I’ll add protein powder, sprinkle hemp hearts on top or add some granola or nuts. Healthy or decadent, the sky’s the limit!
Give it a whirl, and don’t forget to share your recipe in the comments!
