We’ve reached the end of another year!
I took this photo on one of my many walks through the forest. To me, it speaks of a new year, a new path and the excitement of the unknown.
I can’t help but mark the close of 2021 and anticipate a bright and shiny 2022. It’s become a ritual of mine to reflect on the moments of a year coming to an end…there was much laughter, there were tears, there were accomplishments and there was most definitely growth! As I lean into gratitude for a year that has passed, I look forward to a new year beginning, in all its possibility and potential. This is a time of planning for me, of checking in and becoming clear on my vision.
It’s a time to create 🙂Â
I believe we’re all creators, whether we realize it or not. There’s so much joy to be had in the simplistic nature of creativity, and exhilaration when we allow ourselves to explore and experiment! What are you hoping to bring into existence in the new year?
Thank you for visiting this space…may we all enjoy good health, love and creativity as we head into 2022.Â

It’s hard to believe that we’ve reached the end of another year. In some ways it has gone by with lightening speed and in other ways it’s been slow….the past two years have sort of blended into one for me – not in a bad way – just so different than any others.
To me creativity has many faces – and I agree – it’s in all of us! There is never not a time to create! We can use creativity to problem solve, to comfort, to celebrate, to carve out a living. We can keep it quiet, and personal and/or we can share it. How lucky are we?!
So, resolutions or not (the later for me) 2022….ready or not….here we come!

I agree Doreen, the year went by to the beat of its own drum…sometimes slowly, other times with great momentum. And as you say, not necessarily bad, just different.
I see you’ve discovered the magic of creativity! Yes, SO many ways it shows up in our everyday life. It has eventually become a mindset for me, a way of being, not just when I create but in my life in general. Because they’re not separate. It all overlaps. How lucky are we, indeed 🙂 Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. Lookout 2022!
